We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sr Engineer - Production to oversee and manage production operations at our water pump manufacturing facility in Changodar The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production flow maintaining quality standards optimizing productivity and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet daily and monthly production targets Key Responsibilities Production Planning Execution Plan and execute daily weekly and monthly production schedules based on sales and inventory requirements Ensure optimum utilization of manpower machinery and materials Monitor production lines to ensure timely and efficient output of water pumps and components Process Optimization Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement cost reduction and efficiency enhancement Implement Lean Manufacturing Kaizen 5S and other productivity tools to improve workflow Ensure minimal machine downtime through effective planning and coordination with the maintenance team Quality Control Ensure that products are manufactured as per BIS ISO standards and quality norms Collaborate with the QC team to minimize rework rejection and customer complaints Conduct root cause analysis RCA and implement corrective and preventive actions CAPA Team Shift Management Supervise and guide shop floor supervisors operators and contract labor across multiple shifts Provide training to workers on SOPs safety protocols and production techniques Coordination Reporting Coordinate with design purchase stores and dispatch teams to ensure seamless production operations Prepare and maintain daily production reports downtime logs and performance analysis Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental regulations Qualifications Experience Diploma B E B Tech in Mechanical Production or Industrial Engineering 5-8 years of hands-on experience in pump manufacturing or rotating equipment industries Good knowledge of assembly processes machining testing and balancing of water pumps Experience in casting fabrication and motor integration is a plus Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 40 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Leave encashment Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
