Job Title Patient Assistant Department Nursing Patient Care Services Reports To Nursing In-Charge Floor Supervisor Job Summary The Patient Assistant supports nursing and medical staff in providing care and comfort to patients The role includes assisting patients with daily activities maintaining cleanliness and safety of the patient area and ensuring smooth communication between patients attendants and hospital staff Key Responsibilities Assist patients with basic needs such as mobility feeding bathing and toileting Support nursing staff in patient shifting positioning and transport within the hospital Maintain patient rooms beds and surroundings in a clean and organized manner Provide assistance in collecting and delivering samples reports and other items as instructed Help patients and attendants understand hospital procedures and guide them courteously Ensure patient privacy dignity and comfort at all times Report any abnormal observation or patient complaint to the nurse on duty immediately Follow infection control and safety protocols strictly Assist during emergency situations and during admission discharge processes Qualification Experience Minimum 10th or 12th pass Basic training in patient care or hospital support services preferred Prior experience in hospital or healthcare setup desirable Skills Required Caring and compassionate attitude Good communication and interpersonal skills Physical fitness to assist in patient handling and movement Ability to follow instructions and work in a team Basic understanding of hygiene and infection control Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 9 351 85 - 12 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
