R esponsibilities Y ou will be working and supporting on a range of infrastructure schemes to independently develop engineering drawings in accordance with the relevant standards Y ou will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and to be active on several projects at any given time Y ou will be contributing to all types of projects Y ou will be using AutoCAD MicroStation and other engineering software for the production and development of drawings Y ou will read and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures for Health and Safety including the H S Policy H S Manual and Local Procedures Manual K ey Competencies Skills M andatory Skills A bility to utilise AutoCAD or MicroStation in adherence to defined CAD standards to develop layouts labelling dimensioning sheet layout design details and other appropriate design concepts A bility to read and interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models to assist with investigations of engineering problems P roven ability to work up drawings plans sections details from Engineers basic sketches to full working drawings A bility to liaise with the design teams as necessary to coordinate design and drawing production A bility to use key lines signs and post software U K Highways project experience and knowledge of UK design standards is advantageous Y ou should be able to demonstrate some experience and working knowledge of relevant technical design guidance and standards such as TSRGD HCD and GG 184 Proficient in use of standard office software C onfidence to seek clarification of instructions and work scope C ommitment to work as part of a design team focused on project delivery G ood written and verbal communication skills D esired Skills K nowledge of Civil 3D K nowledge of UK TRO process is advantageous Q ualifications Y ou will have a ITI or Diploma in Engineering level qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 3-7 years relevant post-graduate experience Autodesk AutoCAD or
