Zinnov is hiring for the role of T Edge Computing Engineer on behalf of our Global MNC MedTech client company a company where technology sits at the centre of everything: powering how the core business operates day to day and shaping the products and digital solutions that will define the future of patient care. This role is part of the companys establishment of their current India Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru which will drive enterprise technology, digital transformation and innovation for its global operations and contributing to technology that ultimately helps millions of people around the world.

The position works closely with IT, Cybersecurity, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and business stakeholders in a highly regulated environment. It is suited for professionals with strong privacy, audit, and risk management experience who can contribute to secure and compliant technology delivery.

Role & responsibilities

- Design, implement, and support edge computing infrastructure and platforms to meet business and operational requirements.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain edge environments to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience.

- Collaborate with global IT teams, vendors, and business partners to integrate edge solutions with enterprise systems and cloud platforms. • Apply cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance standards across all edge deployments.
- Support incident, problem, and change management activities, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps, standards, and documentation for edge compute services.
- Participate in testing, validation, and rollout of new technologies and enhancements within controlled environments.

Preferred candidate profile

Education





- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline (preferred). Experience and Skills Required:
- 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, edge computing, distributed systems, or hybrid cloud environments
- Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or equivalent edge orchestration technologies. • Working knowledge of monitoring, automation, and configuration management tools supporting distributed environments.
- Ability to translate business and operational needs into practical technical solutions and service improvements.
- Experience working within IT service management processes (incident, change, problem).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and a continuous-improvement mindset. Preferred:
- Experience supporting edge compute solutions in manufacturing, supply chain, or regulated environments.
- Exposure to cloud-connected edge architectures and hybrid IT environments.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance requirements in healthcare or life sciences.
- Scripting or automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or similar).
- Experience working with vendors or managed service providers.
- Ability to influence without authority and contribute to technical standards and best practices.

- Language: Proficiency in English (required). • Travel: Up to 10% domestic or international travel, as needed. • Certifications: Relevant IT or infrastructure certifications (e.g., cloud, networking, or systems) are preferred.
