Yashoda Hospitals is seeking a skilled and dedicated Blood Bank Technician to support blood collection, testing, processing, storage, and issue of blood and blood components while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform donor screening, medical history assessment, and sample collection as per SOPs.
- Collect, label, process, and store blood and blood components accurately.
- Conduct blood grouping, cross-matching, and transfusion-related testing.
- Perform mandatory screening tests including HIV, HBsAg, and HCV.
- Maintain blood inventory and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Issue blood and blood components after verification and documentation.
- Monitor and record temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, incubators, and storage equipment.
- Follow aseptic techniques, infection control practices, and biomedical waste management protocols.
- Maintain registers, records, and documentation as per regulatory requirements.




- Ensure quality control procedures and equipment maintenance are carried out.
- Coordinate with clinicians and nursing staff regarding blood requirements.
- Report discrepancies, incidents, and critical issues to the Blood Bank Officer.
- Participate in departmental training and quality improvement activities.

Eligibility Criteria Qualification: BBT / DMLT / MLT/B.sc -Telangana Registration Manadatory

Experience: 1-5 Years in Blood Bank / Transfusion Services
