Job Summary

Damani Shipping is looking for a skilled Accounts Executive with 46 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, and GST. The ideal candidate should have solid accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with statutory compliance, and be available to join immediately. Candidates must be willing to work from the Fort, Mumbai office.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain books of accounts, journal entries, and general ledger.
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and statutory compliance.
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense entries.




- Prepare MIS reports and assist in monthly and annual financial closing.
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.
- Hands-on experience in GST, Taxation, and TDS.
- Good understanding of statutory compliance and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and ERP/SAP (preferred).
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong experience in Accounting, GST, Taxation, TDS, and Statutory Compliance.
- Immediate joiners are mandatory.
- Willing to work from Fort, Mumbai.
