Role Overview
As the VP of Engineering, you be responsible for strategy, execution and delivery of the technology roadmap. This role demands a deep understanding of backend architectures – preferable with expertise in .NET Core and a proven ability to scale teams, systems and operations in high compliance industry like Fintech
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a diverse engineering organisation across backend, frontend, DevOps, QA and data teams.
- Define and drive the engineering strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Build Scalable, secure and high-performance platforms using .NET Core, Microservices architecture.
- Establish Engineering best practices (agile delivery, CI/CD, Test Automation, observability)
- Collaborate closely with product, design, compliance, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure technical compliance with relevant financial and data security regulations
- Oversee system architecture decisions, technical debt management,
and platform scalability
- Manage engineering budgets, hiring, team structure and performance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies relevant to fintech and cloud infrastructure.
What We’re Looking For
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering with 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Hands on experience with .NET Core in production grade backend systems.
- Proven track record of delivering complex software systems in high growth environments.
- Deep understanding of Cloud native development (preferably in Azure or AWS)
- Experience with microservices architecture, APIs and secure data exchange.
- Solid leadership, team building, organizational scaling capabilities
- Prior experience in Fintech, banking or other regulated industries.
