Job Title: VMC Operator

Experience: 2–5 Years

Qualification: ITI / DME / B.E. Mechanical

Job Location: Coimbatore

We are looking for experienced VMC Operators to set up and operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines and ensure accurate and efficient machining of components as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate VMC machines as per job requirements.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
- Load CNC programs and make minor program edits when required.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Inspect and measure finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic preventive maintenance.
- Monitor machining processes and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of jobs.




- Follow workplace safety procedures and company guidelines.

Requirements

- ITI / DME / B.E. Mechanical qualification.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience as a VMC Operator.
- Good knowledge of VMC machine operation and machining processes.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming and editing.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and other inspection tools will be an advantage.
- Positive attention to detail and quality awareness.
