The Restaurant Captain is responsible for supervising the service team ensuring smooth restaurant operations delivering high-quality guest service and maintaining service standards The role acts as a link between guests service staff and management to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient workflow Key Responsibilities Guest Service Satisfaction Welcome and seat guests ensuring they are comfortable Take food beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly Ensure personalized service to regular and VIP guests Team Supervision Supervise waiters stewards and service staff during operations Assign tables tasks and sections to team members Train and guide staff on service standards upselling and guest handling Operations Standards Ensure tables are properly set up and maintained as per hotel standards Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth food beverage service Monitor cleanliness hygiene and safety in the restaurant Check bills before presentation and ensure accurate billing Sales Upselling Suggest menu items and promotions to guests Encourage upselling of food beverages and special offers Assist in achieving restaurant sales targets Reporting Coordination Prepare shift reports and communicate operational issues to the Restaurant Manager Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs licensing and statutory requirements Coordinate with other departments kitchen housekeeping accounts for smooth operations Qualifications Skills Diploma Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent 2-4 years of experience in F B service with at least 1 year in a supervisory role Good knowledge of food beverages wines and service techniques Strong leadership communication and guest-handling skills Ability to train motivate and manage a team Presentable courteous and customer-service oriented Key Competencies Leadership teamwork Attention to detail Guest-centric approach Problem-solving ability Sales orientation Job Type Full time Pay 22 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Work Location In person
