OVERVIEW The release Management team works closely with Product Managers Development Quality Assurance and Compliance to ensure the TransPerfect product offerings are validated against client and regulatory requirements This role is responsible to work with the teams to verify and gather evidence that the Software Development Life Cycle was followed What We re Looking For We re looking for proactive individuals who take ownership of their work communicate effectively within a team and thrive under pressure No prior experience in this industry No problem we provide full training on our workflows technology and best practices What matters most is a strong ability to manage tasks independently maintain precision in high-volume work and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment DESCRIPTION Primary Responsibilities Assist with Release Management practices including implementation and maintenance of RM disciplines Implement Release Management processes according to the department and company standards and procedures Where appropriate work with Department Managers and or Team Leads to regularly update and improve these standards and procedures Creating Confluence Build and Release pages for tracking details of each Product build and Release Work closely with QA team to gather testing information and integration details Work Closely with Product Manager to ensure the correct information is capture for the release Actively maintain and improve awareness of development QA release management processes policies Gather approvals from stakeholders to release Assist Director with Validation Package creation and other process documentation relating the Release Management Disseminate build notices for approval and acceptance Assist with training on team members Assist with technical documentation and OLH validation Assist with the Release process including the preparation of the Release workplace verification of FTP transfers resolution of JIRA issues and SVN check in of Release detail documentation Check out of source code when needed for archive of the Release Maintain product integration matrix Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for your role and assigned by your manager supervisor REQUIRED SKILLS Excellent communication oral and written interpersonal and organizational skills Understanding of Software Release Methodologies Self-motivated and detail-oriented Ability to use command line in a Unix Linux environment The ideal candidate will demonstrate ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures build relationships co-workers work independently and as part of a team take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service Enjoy working with people and being part of a team REQUIRED EXPERIENCE BCA BE in Computer Sciences Freshers are welcome DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience with virtualization Excellent skills with Mac OS Windows UNIX and Linux Experience with SVN Ant Eclipse and Tortoise SVN Experience with Tomcat Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines Experience with hardware and software issues
