About Gartner IT Join a world-class team of skilled engineers who build creative digital solutions to support our colleagues and clients We make a broad organizational impact by delivering cutting-edge technology solutions that power Gartner Gartner IT values its culture of nonstop innovation an outcome-driven approach to success and the notion that great ideas can come from anyone on the team About this role Gartner is looking for passionate and motivated Software Engineers who are excited to foray into new technologies and help build maintain data driven components for realizing business needs This role is with Gartner s Digital Product Technology DPT team DPT Engineering teams are high velocity agile teams responsible for developing and maintaining components crucial to customer-facing channels data science teams and reporting analysis What you ll do Designing implementing unit integration testing and supporting applications and services Contribute to the review and analysis of business requirements Documenting and review detailed design Should be able to interact and coordinate well with other developers teams to resolve operational issues Must be able to estimate development tasks with high accuracy and deliver on time with high quality while following coding guidelines and best practices Identify systemic operational issues and resolve them What you ll need Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required Must have 2 year s experience in software development with full stack web applications development experience Strong knowledge of Python programming language experience Experience with relational databases using SQL SQLServer MySQL PostgreSQL etc Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with other teams Experience working with one of the cloud service providers AWS Preferred Good problem-solving skill s Good to have Experience with DevOps and collaboration tools such as Git Jenkins Jira Confluence Experience working with data platforms - building and maintaining ETL flows and data stores for ML and reporting applications Experience working with AI ML workloads E xperience with building applications with Java Spring- boot or similar frameworks Experience with performance tuning APIs and batch jobs Who you are Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required Excellent communication and prioritization skills Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment Owns success -
