Job Title Manufacturing Head - Plant Operations Location Ludhiana Punjab Salary Up to 1 Lakh per month Experience Required 10 Years in Metal Fabrication Welding Sheet Metal Industry Job Overview We are hiring a seasoned Manufacturing Head to lead our Ludhiana-based production plant The candidate must have a robust background in metal fabrication welding or sheet metal manufacturing and should be capable of handling end-to-end production operations ensuring quality timelines and efficiency in a discrete manufacturing setup Key Responsibilities 1 Production Shop Floor Operations Plan and supervise daily production for fabrication and assembly Monitor output to ensure it aligns with quality and quantity targets Drive improvements in cycle time productivity and process flow 2 Fabrication Welding Management Oversee operations such as cutting welding MIG TIG grinding fitting polishing and assembly Implement best practices for metal finishing and joint strength Ensure safety and maintenance of fabrication equipment and tools 3 Quality Process Control Maintain tight tolerances and dimensional accuracy during production Work closely with the QC team to minimize rework and rejection Ensure adherence to SOPs process checks and inspection standards 4 Team Management Lead a team of supervisors welders fitters and helpers Provide regular training on welding standards safety and productivity Promote a performance-driven culture and shift discipline 5 Reporting Coordination Generate daily MIS reports for production and manpower Coordinate with Purchase Stores and Design Planning teams for timely inputs Maintain plant efficiency and cost optimization Candidate Profile Diploma B Tech in Mechanical Production Industrial Engineering 10 years of experience in metal fabrication welding sheet metal manufacturing Must have handled shop floor operations manpower and quality systems Knowledge of fabrication jigs fixtures lean tools and 5S practices Strong leadership planning and communication skills Must be open to full time on-site role in Ludhiana Compensation Monthly Salary Up to 1 00 000 Negotiable as per experience Additional performance-based incentives may be applicable Job Type Full-time Pay 50 000 00 - 100 000 00 per month Work Location In person
