Job Title PCBA CAD Library Engineer Your team Philips Innovation Services is a corporate group within Philips HealthTech consisting of approximately 1000 passionate professionals in the field of Consulting Engineering and other innovation services Your group Electronic Design Services EDS is a part of the Reliability Solutions department and consists of a team of over 60 highly skilled technical professionals in the field of Electronic Design The EDS group plays an instrumental role in establishing and leading a Philips-wide global Electronic Design Platform schematics PBCA design technology as well as global e-Component Management services Both for internal and external customers it provides PCBA design Quick Prototyping services We are located in The Netherland Eindhoven USA Andover and India Bangalore Your customers are internal Philips businesses which are located all over the world Your challenge Philips challenges you to use your engineering expertise to model design and implement some of the world s most innovative medical products You will be playing an instrumental role in further shaping Printed Circuit Board PCB and PCB Assembly PCBA technology within Philips and strengthen its value proposition in all its aspects within Philips globally Team responsibilities The PCBA Library Creation team delivers CAD-E Components to Philips businesses on component creation update maintenance and verification of PCBA Library data in the Philips databases Support the increasing demand from the Philips businesses for PCBA CAD-E Library requests and supporting parts release within Philips Provide technical support 3D Model creation and addition to PCBA library Actively support improvement of library creation methods and way-of-working Actively support Philips businesses globally with their PCBA development During peak-loads in our team Support data registration of standard parts in our Windchill PLM systems for component registration As a PCBA Library Engineer you will Complete PCBA Part Requests following the Philips workflow Create the symbol cell 3D Model and mapping to parts as per standards using the given toolsets PCBA CAD-E library element creation in Mentor Graphics Xpedition Determine whether Part Requests are complete provide clear communication back to requester in case there are issues or additional information is required Upload created parts in DMS Verify and Release Define and understand easily PCBA CAD-E Library Creation Processes Perform a verification of the Part Request deliverables During peak-loads in our team registration of standard parts in PTC Windchill We are looking for BSc degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Mechatronics Knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical components Competence in the area of PCBA CAD-E Library Creation Knowledge of IEEE ANSI IPC and JEDEC standards for schematic symbols PCBA footprints Expertise with Mentor Graphics Xpedition using Library Manager DxDesigner DMS 3D Model Interface Cell editor 4 to 5 years of experience and currently working on electronic and electro-mechanical component creation and maintenance Competence in creation of 3D Models and experience with Creo is a plus Experience in component management processes and part data registration in PTC Windchill Pro-active can-do attitude team player Able to work in a structured manner with a focus on quality Fluent in English verbal and written Capable of communicating effectively with all technical disciplines How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company s facilities Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company s main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations Indicate if this role is an office field onsite role About Philips We are a health technology company We built our entire company around the belief that every human matters and we won t stop until everybody everywhere has access to the quality healthcare that we all deserve Do the work of your life to help the lives of others Learn more about our business Discover our rich and exciting history Learn more about our purpose If you re interested in this role and have many but not all of the experiences needed we encourage you to apply You may still be the right candidate for this or other opportunities at Philips Learn more about our culture of impact with care here
