KeepItSimple is a growing digital marketing agency focused on creating content that actually makes people stop, watch, and remember.

We work with businesses across different industries, creating everything from social media content and reels to campaigns, brand videos, and digital marketing strategies.

We’re looking for a Videographer & Video Editor to join us as we grow.

But this isn't just a role where you'll be handed a shot list, asked to shoot, and sent home.

We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with the agency, take ownership, contribute creatively, and eventually become an important part of the team’s long-term growth.

What You'll Do

? Videography

- Shoot reels, promotional videos, brand videos, interviews, product videos, and social media content.
- Handle camera/phone-based shoots depending on the project.
- Understand framing, composition, lighting, camera movement, and basic cinematography.
- Work with influencers, models, business owners, and clients during shoots.
- Help plan shots and come up with creative ways to capture content.

✂️ Video Editing

- Edit Instagram Reels, promotional videos, ads, talking-head videos, and other social media content.
- Create engaging cuts, transitions, captions, motion graphics, sound design, and visual effects where required.
- Select suitable music, sound effects, B-roll, and pacing based on the concept.
- Adapt videos to different platforms and formats.
- Maintain consistency with each client's brand identity.

? Creative Contribution

- Bring your own ideas to the table.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and content planning.




- Understand what makes content engaging rather than simply following instructions.
- Stay updated with social media trends, editing styles, hooks, formats, and visual storytelling.
- Help turn simple ideas into content that people actually want to watch.

? Working With the Team

- Collaborate closely with the founders, designers, marketers, influencers, and clients.
- Occasionally communicate directly with clients regarding shoots and content requirements.
- Take responsibility for projects from the initial idea through shooting and final delivery.
- Be willing to learn things outside your primary role when required.

What We're Looking For You don't need to be an expert at everything.

What matters more to us is that you:

- Have a good eye for visuals and storytelling .
- Know your way around video editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools .
- Understand the basics of shooting and cinematography.
- Can edit content specifically for social media.
- Have a strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content .
- Are creative, proactive, and willing to experiment.
- Can work independently without needing constant instructions.
- Are comfortable working in a fast-moving agency environment.
- Are open to feedback and willing to improve.
- Can manage deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have a portfolio/showreel that demonstrates your work.





Bonus Points If You
- Know motion graphics / After Effects.
- Understand colour grading.
- Can operate a mirrorless/DSLR camera confidently.
- Understand lighting and audio.
- Have experience creating content for brands.
- Know how social media marketing works.
- Can come up with concepts, hooks, and storyboards, not just execute them.
- Have experience working with influencers or on-location commercial shoots.
