About Outreach Empress

Outreach Empress is a link building agency based in Dehradun. We earn backlinks for brands through manual outreach and real publisher relationships, and we have worked with over 100 brands and agencies, including the difficult verticals most agencies avoid.

We are now building our own channels: long-form videos on YouTube plus Reels and Shorts on Instagram, all filmed in our office. This is our first video hire.

The role

You film it and you cut it. Recording happens in-house, so you set up the camera, the lights and the audio, then take that footage all the way to a finished video. The long edit goes to YouTube. From the same footage you build the vertical cuts for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

There is no style guide waiting for you. What our channels look like a year from now is largely down to whoever takes this seat.

What you will do

- Run in-house shoots: camera, lighting, audio, framing
- Edit long-form YouTube videos in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Cut vertical Reels and Shorts from the same footage, built for vertical from scratch and paced for the feed
- Colour grade and mix audio so it holds up on phone speakers with the volume halfway down
- Add captions, on-screen text and motion graphics in After Effects
- Design thumbnails and cover frames
- Hit agreed delivery dates and keep the publishing calendar moving
- Watch retention on what you publish and bring us one thing you would change next time
- Pick up whatever else a video needs: resizes, cleanup, small design assets, a recut

What we need you to have




- Published work we can watch. What you have shipped matters more to us than years on a CV
- Adobe Premiere Pro at working speed: shortcuts, proxies, multicam, nested sequences
- After Effects for titles, lower thirds, masking and animation
- Basic Photoshop or Illustrator for thumbnails and on-screen assets (preferred)
- Hands on a camera and a microphone. You can see why a shot looks flat, and you fix it on set instead of in post
- A feel for pacing. You know when a cut is dragging and you tighten it without being asked
- Captions that read cleanly on a phone with the sound off
- Based in Dehradun, or ready to relocate. This is an in-office role

Positive to have
- Thumbnail design and a sense of what actually gets clicked
- Motion graphics past animated text
- Experience reading YouTube analytics and cutting differently because of what the retention graph showed
- Sound design instincts that go beyond dropping a music bed under everything

- ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 a month for the first year, with a formal review at 12 months
- Full credit on your work, and freedom to use everything you make in your portfolio
- Channels with nothing on them yet. The first year of work is entirely yours to point at
