Job Summary

News Doot is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce high-quality news videos for digital and social media platforms. The ideal candidate should be skilled in editing fast-paced news content, adding graphics, captions, and sound effects, and delivering videos within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit daily news packages, interviews, and breaking news videos.
- Create engaging reels, shorts, and social media videos.
- Add titles, lower thirds, transitions, subtitles, graphics, and background music.
- Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and video optimization.
- Coordinate with reporters, anchors, and the content team to ensure timely delivery.
- Organize and maintain video footage and project files.
- Ensure all content meets editorial standards and brand guidelines.
- Deliver high-quality videos under strict deadlines.

Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro,



After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and social media publishing.
- Basic motion graphics and thumbnail design skills.
- Strong storytelling and visual editing sense.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced newsroom environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mass Communication, Multimedia, Film Editing, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of video editing experience (freshers with a robust portfolio may also apply).
- Experience editing news or digital media content is an advantage.
