Role Description The Video Editor Intern role is a full-time remote position focused on supporting GroGlobally’s content and campaign needs. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will assist in editing video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling, ensuring alignment with creative briefs and brand guidelines.

Responsibilities include organizing raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, adding transitions, sound, and basic effects, and preparing videos for various platforms and formats.



The intern will collaborate with the marketing and design teams to adapt video content for different audiences, optimize visual consistency, and contribute ideas to elevate overall content quality. This role offers hands-on exposure to digital marketing workflows, content strategy, and real-world brand-building projects.

Qualifications

- Solid foundational skills in Video Production, including handling raw footage, understanding shot composition, and basic camera workflows.
- Proficiency in Video Editing using common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) to cut, assemble, and refine engaging videos.
- Basic knowledge of Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance the look and feel of content.
- Experience or interest in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple animations, text overlays, and social media–ready visual assets.
- Ability to follow creative direction, work with feedback, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail, with the capacity to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Interest in digital marketing, social media content, and brand storytelling; familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube is beneficial.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or training in film, media, design, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
