This role is ideal for a video editor with strong creative judgment, sharp storytelling instincts, and the ability to work fast without compromising quality. We are looking for someone who can handle a wide range of video formats, adapt quickly, and turn raw material into polished, engaging content that is clear, structured, and professionally executed.

Responsibilities

- Strong storytelling ability with a clear understanding of pacing, structure, rhythm, and how to hold attention through editing.

- Quick learner and fast executor who can understand direction quickly and translate it into polished edits with minimal delay.

- Comfort working with German-language content including spoken German, subtitles, text overlays, and content flow.

- Experience with shooting is a major advantage as it helps with editorial judgment, footage selection, continuity, and understanding production needs on set.

- Experience with AI tools such as Runway and Higgsfield and the ability to use them practically within a modern content workflow.

- Strong eye for detail across cuts, timing, audio, subtitles, graphics, and final presentation.





- Able to take feedback professionally and revise quickly while maintaining consistency and quality.

Requirements

- Edit Across Formats: Produce high-quality edits across podcasts, talking head videos, reels, short-form content, long-form videos, and other branded media assets.

- Lead Through Storytelling: Shape footage with strong pacing, structure, and narrative flow so the final video is not only clean, but engaging and purposeful.

- Adapt to Different Content Needs: Adjust editing style depending on the format, platform, and objective while maintaining a consistent quality standard.

- Strengthen Final Output: Integrate music, sound design, captions, graphics, and supporting visual elements where needed to improve clarity and viewer retention.

- Collaborate Closely With the Team: Work with content managers, writers, designers, and management to execute creative direction accurately and efficiently.

- Deliver With Speed: Handle deadlines well and maintain a fast editing pace without letting quality drop.

- Own Equipment: Must have their own professional camera and essential shooting equipment, with the ability to independently handle recording when required.
