Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor and Graphic Designer based in Kozhikode. The role involves editing and producing engaging video content for educational and promotional purposes, including course modules, social media campaigns, and marketing materials.

The Video

Editor and Graphic Designer will design visual assets such as thumbnails, banners, posters, infographics, and digital ads that align with brand guidelines and support learner engagement.



Daily tasks include collaborating with instructors and the marketing team to understand content requirements, organizing raw footage, applying transitions and effects, adding sound and subtitles, and optimizing outputs for various platforms. The role also includes maintaining consistent visual identity across all media, contributing creative ideas for campaigns, and meeting project timelines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Strong video editing skills with proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or equivalent), including cutting, transitions, motion graphics, sound syncing, and basic color correction.

Solid graphic design skills with experience in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva or similar, including layout design, typography, image editing, and creating digital assets for web and social media.

Ability to develop creative concepts and visual stories that support educational content and marketing objectives, with a good sense of composition, branding, and audience engagement.

Basic understanding of digital and social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and best practices for content formats, aspect ratios, and optimization.

Relevant experience in multimedia, graphic design, video editing, or a related field; a diploma or degree in design, media, communication, or a similar discipline is preferred.

Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
