Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Video Editor within EtherFly’s digital marketing team.

The Video

Editor will support the creation and editing of marketing videos for social media, websites, and paid campaigns, following brand guidelines and creative briefs. Daily responsibilities include assembling raw footage, editing sequences, adding transitions and effects, performing basic color grading, and integrating motion graphics or text overlays where needed.



The role also involves collaborating with marketers and designers to align video content with campaign objectives, optimizing videos for different platforms, and organizing assets for efficient workflow. Interns are expected to manage their time effectively, communicate progress clearly, and be open to feedback and revisions.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Video Production and Video Editing using common editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Ability to perform Video Color Grading and basic sound adjustments to enhance visual and audio quality.
- Experience creating Motion Graphics and working with Graphics assets (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Canva, or similar).
- Understanding of digital marketing needs for video content, including formats and best practices for social media and ads.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow brand guidelines, and strong sense of visual storytelling.
- Good communication skills, reliability in a remote setup, and willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
- Relevant coursework, personal projects, or a portfolio showcasing video work; prior agency or freelance experience is a plus.
