Role Description This is a full time hybrid Video Editor role based in Dehradun, with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Video

Editor will plan, produce, and edit video content that communicates CFM’s mission, services, and student stories across digital platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, applying color grading, refining audio, and incorporating motion graphics and visual assets to create clear, engaging narratives. The role involves collaborating with counselors, marketing,



and content teams to translate complex educational information into accessible video formats, including explainer videos, testimonials, social media clips, and promotional content.

The Video

Editor will also manage project timelines, organize media assets, and maintain a consistent visual style aligned with CFM’s brand and values.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Video Production and Video Editing skills, including experience with industry-standard editing software.
- Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills to ensure consistent, high-quality visual output.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Relevant experience in educational, counseling, or mission-driven content creation is beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and capacity to work with feedback and iterate quickly.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
- Familiarity with social media formats and best practices for video content distribution is an advantage.
- A degree or formal training in film, media, communication, design, or a related field is preferred but not strictly required with equivalent experience.
