Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vice President – IT (Core Applications) to lead the strategy, management, and modernization of enterprise core applications. This role requires a technology leader with solid expertise in managing mission-critical platforms, driving digital transformation, leading large cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless delivery of business-critical IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle management of core enterprise applications, including BaNCS, APEX , and other mission-critical platforms.
- Drive application modernization through APIs, integrations, microservices, and platform upgrades.
- Lead strategic technology transformation programs and enterprise application enhancements.
- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, security, and reliability of core systems.
- Manage large internal technology teams and external vendor partners.
- Strengthen production support,



governance, incident management, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, regulatory, and disaster recovery standards.

Required Skills

- 15–20+ years of experience in Enterprise IT with at least 8+ years in leadership roles .
- Hands-on expertise in BaNCS, APEX , or similar core banking/insurance platforms.
- Strong knowledge of application architecture, APIs, enterprise integrations, databases, and performance optimization.
- Experience managing large technology teams and multi-vendor environments.
- Proven track record of delivering complex digital transformation initiatives within the BFSI sector.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
