Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Veterinary Radiologist role based in New Delhi.
The Veterinary
Radiologist will perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures, including digital radiography and ultrasonography, for companion animals and other species as required.
Responsibilities include reviewing clinical histories, recommending appropriate imaging protocols, ensuring safe and accurate positioning, and generating clear, evidence-based reports for referring veterinarians. The role involves close collaboration with clinicians and laboratory teams to correlate imaging findings with laboratory data,
support treatment planning, and participate in case discussions.
The Veterinary
Radiologist will also help maintain imaging equipment, uphold radiation safety standards, support quality assurance initiatives, and contribute to training and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Qualifications
Clinical imaging expertise: Strong skills in veterinary digital radiography and ultrasonography, including image acquisition, interpretation, and report writing.
Diagnostic integration: Ability to correlate imaging findings with clinical signs and laboratory results (e.g., haematology, biochemistry, pathology) to support accurate diagnosis.
Technical and safety skills: Proficiency in operating and maintaining imaging equipment, with thorough knowledge of radiation safety protocols and quality assurance practices.
Communication and collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain imaging findings clearly and work effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
Education and credentials: Veterinary degree (BVSc & AH or equivalent) with specialization or advanced training in veterinary radiology or diagnostic imaging; relevant registration with appropriate veterinary authorities.
Skilled experience: Prior experience in a veterinary diagnostic center, hospital, or imaging facility is highly beneficial; exposure to a multi-disciplinary diagnostic environment is an advantage.
