Role & responsibilities

- Animal Facility Operations: Oversee procurement, quarantine, housing, and welfare of laboratory animals. Ensure proper documentation of animal health and compliance with ethical standards.
- Committee Coordination: Organize and conduct Institutional Ethical Committee and Biosafety Committee meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain accurate records of proceedings.
- GLP Compliance: Ensure all animal facility activities, documentation, and equipment maintenance meet GLP standards.
- Pathology Support: Supervise necropsy and histopathology workflows, review slide quality, and support pathology evaluations for preclinical studies.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with Study Directors, veterinarians, histology teams, and technical staff to ensure timely completion of study requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to validation of current techniques, promote best practices in animal facility management, and support scientific reporting and presentations.

Preferred candidate profile MVSc in Pathology preferred.

3-4 years of experience in GLPcompliant animal research facilities.
