As a Vendor Relations Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new suppliers, as well as maintaining robust relationships with existing ones. You will work closely with the sales and operations team to ensure that our supply chain is strong, reliable, and cost-effective. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, vendor management, and negotiation, and be able to think strategically about how to optimize our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Identify new vendors and suppliers for BuilditIndia, and negotiate terms and pricing

Develop and maintain relationships with existing vendors and suppliers

Work closely with the sales and operations team to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues

Develop and implement vendor performance metrics to ensure quality and reliability of supply

Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and pricing

Develop and maintain a supplier database and regularly update it





Implement procurement policies and procedures to optimize our supply chain

Requirements

Bachelors degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field

3+ years of experience in procurement or vendor management

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other procurement software
