NQualification Required: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Inter CA / US CMA

NExperience Range: 3 to 7 years

NRole Overview

nTheFinancial Controller will be responsible for end-to-end financial governance, statutory compliance, and financial performance management for U.S. clients. This role demands strong technical accounting expertise, analytical abilities, and the capability to support strategic business decisions. The position may require managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.

NKey Responsibilities

nFinancial Governance & Compliance

NDevelop, implement, and maintain robust accounting policies and internal controls.

NEnsure adherence to U.S. federal and state statutory regulations applicable to client entities.

NOversee compliance with GAAP, regulatory filings, and financial documentation standards.

NFinancial Reporting & Audit Support

NManage finalization of accounts for clients and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closures.

NSupport internal and external audit activities by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and audit documentation.

NDeliver timely financial statements, reports, and disclosures.

NPerformance & Profitability Analysis

NAnalyze branch, segment, and overall business profitability for clients.

NIdentify deviations, costleakages, and opportunities for margin improvement.

NRecommend corrective and optimization measures to enhance financial outcomes.

NFinancial Planning, Budgeting & Cash Management





NLead annual budgeting andperiodic forecasting processes for client entities.

NOversee fund flow planning, cash flow monitoring, and liquidity management.

NSupport FP&A; initiatives,including financial projections, variance analysis, and financial modeling.

NBusiness & Strategic Support

NDevelop and maintain comprehensive MIS dashboards and financial reports.

NSupport pricing decisions, commercial evaluations, and business case preparation.

NCollaborate with client CFOs, finance teams, and management to provide actionable insights.

NDrive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting mechanisms.

NIdeal Candidate Profile

NStrong background in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.

NHands-on experience working with U.S. clients or exposure to U.S. GAAP.

NAbility to independently manage multiple stakeholders and client accounts.

NHigh level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

NStrong analytical mindsetwith proven ability to interpret financial data and provide recommendations.

NComfortable working in dynamic, rapid-paced environments with tight deadlines.

NSkillset Required

nGood communication skills

NExpert knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

NProficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

NAdvanced Excel skills andfamiliarity with accounting tools such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar.

NStrong understanding of internal controls, audit processes, and compliance frameworks.

NExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
