Job Title: Statutory & Labour Law Compliance Senior Executive

Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities The Senior Executive Compliance (Payroll & Labour Compliance) will be responsible for managing payroll-related statutory compliances, vendor compliance monitoring, vendor coordination, audit support, and resolution of compliance-related queries. The role requires in-depth knowledge of labour laws, statutory regulations, and compliance processes, with a strong focus on EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, BOCW, and CLRA compliances.
Statutory Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements, including:
- Employees' Provident Fund (EPF)
- Employees' State Insurance (ESI)
- Qualified Tax (PT)
- Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
- Payment of Bonus Act
- Payment of Gratuity Act
- Shops & Establishments Act
- Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act (CLRA)
- Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act
- POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) compliance coordination
- Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain compliance Audit records and documentation for Client Review
Vendor Compliance Management
- Track and monitor vendor compliance status and statutory submissions.
- Coordinate with vendors to collect, review,
and validate compliance documents.
- Follow up with vendors for closure of non-compliance observations and corrective actions.
- Provide guidance to vendors on statutory compliance requirements.
Audit & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, site in-charges, and vendors during internal, external, and statutory audits.
- Prepare compliance reports, audit trackers, and management MIS reports.
- Address client queries and provide timely resolutions related to labour and payroll compliances.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and payroll-related compliances.
- Hands-on experience with:
- EPFO Portal
- ESIC Portal
- Professional Tax filings and compliance
- Labour compliance procedures and statutory documentation
- BOCW and CLRA compliance requirements
- Proficiency in MS Excel, compliance reporting, and MIS preparation.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple compliance activities within strict timelines.
Experience & Qualification
- Bachelors degree in commerce, Management, Law, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in payroll compliance, labour law compliance, vendor compliance management, and audit coordination.
- Experience in handling multi-state compliance requirements will be an added advantage.
