UI/UX Designer

ProProfs, a web-based SaaS product company, is looking for a UI/UX Designer to own the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of our applications. Our goal isn't user satisfaction it's DELIGHT. You'll design flows and interfaces that feel simple, beautiful, and genuinely joyful to use, while pushing them to be more usable, more useful, and more intelligent.

This is a product-design role for the AI era. You won't just make screens look good you'll shape how our users experience AI inside our products, and you'll use AI tooling yourself to go from idea to working prototype faster than ever.

Role & Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

- Create user-centered designs for SaaS and mobile apps by understanding business requirements, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings.
- Design AI-powered product experiences think AI onboarding, conversational and prompt-based interfaces, smart assistants, and generative features. This means designing for uncertainty: great empty states, clear loading and streaming moments, editable AI outputs, graceful error handling, and human-in-the-loop trust and transparency.
- Move quickly from idea to artifact — user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and low- and high-fidelity mockups — using AI-assisted design tools to compress the loop and test more directions in less time.
- Communicate design intent through user journeys, sketches, prototypes,



and other visual forms.
- Contribute to and extend our design system so the work stays consistent, scalable, and fast to build on.
- Use data and experimentation — usage analytics, A/B tests, and usability findings — to inform decisions and validate that designs actually work.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to define user requirements and translate them into transparent project specifications, then work with engineers to ship pixel-perfect designs.

Requirements (What You'll Need)

- 1–3 years of experience in UX design or a related field.
- A track record of shipping user-facing software.
- A solid visual design foundation — visual hierarchy, color, layout, contrast, spacing, and typography.
- Fluency with AI design tools in your day-to-day workflow (for example, Figma AI/Make, v0, Claude, or image-generation tools) to ideate, prototype, and iterate faster.
- Comfort designing for AI-driven and data-rich products — you understand that AI outputs are probabilistic, not guaranteed, and you design accordingly.
- A desire to test your ideas and iterate on them quickly.
- A desire to work with a diverse group of people to define solutions and discuss trade-offs.
- Eagerness to learn and grow — confident yet humble.
- Proficiency in Figma similar for high-fidelity mockups.
