Position Overview The Transportation In‑Charge will manage and oversee the entire school transportation system+ Maintenance knowledge , ensuring safe, efficient, and timely travel for students, staff, and helpers. The role requires solid route planning skills, driver supervision, parent coordination, and knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Route Management

- Plan and monitor routes across locations in Gurugram.

- Ensure punctual pick‑up and drop‑off of students and staff.

- Maintain updated route maps and schedules.

- Driver Supervision

- Manage and supervise all school drivers.

- Conduct regular briefings on safety, discipline, and punctuality.

- Monitor driver performance and resolve issues promptly.

- Safety & Compliance

- Ensure all vehicles meet safety standards and regulatory compliance.

- Conduct routine checks on vehicle fitness, insurance, and permits.

- Implement emergency protocols for breakdowns or accidents.

- Vehicle Maintenance

- Oversee regular servicing and repair of school vehicles.

- Monitor fuel usage, tires, batteries, and other critical components.





- Maintain records of maintenance schedules and expenses.

- Parent & School Coordination

- Act as the primary contact for parents regarding transportation queries.

- Handle complaints, feedback, and special requests professionally.

- Work closely with school administration to align transport services with academic schedules..

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Gurugram routes and traffic patterns.

- Proven experience in managing school or institutional transportation.

- Understanding of vehicle maintenance and servicing.

- Familiarity with GPS tracking and route optimization tools preferred.

- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
