Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and creative Trainer – Video Editing to lead our team of podcast and motion graphics editors. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in video editing, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for mentoring creative professionals.

Roles & Responsibilities

Team Leadership

- Lead and supervise a team of Podcast Video Editors and Motion Graphics Editors.
- Allocate projects based on team members' skill sets, workload, and deadlines.
- Monitor team productivity and ensure productive utilization of resources.
- Conduct daily stand-up meetings and weekly performance reviews.
- Resolve technical and workflow-related challenges faced by editors.

Training & Development

- Train team members on video editing techniques, storytelling, pacing, and platform-specific content.
- Mentor editors on Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, workflow optimization, and creative best practices.
- Identify skill gaps and prepare monthly training plans.

Quality Assurance

- Review edited videos before final delivery.
- Ensure consistency in editing style, branding guidelines, subtitles, motion graphics, audio quality, and color grading.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve editing quality and storytelling.

Project Management

- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, and Clients regarding project requirements.
- Track project progress and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
- Prioritize urgent client revisions without affecting delivery schedules.

Process Improvement

- Develop and maintain Video Editing SOPs, checklists, templates, and workflow documentation.
- Improve editing pipelines to reduce turnaround time.
- Standardize project structures, file management, and backup processes.




- Recommend new tools, plugins, AI workflows, and automation techniques to improve productivity.

Creative Direction

- Guide editors in storytelling, pacing, transitions, music selection, and visual hierarchy.
- Suggest creative enhancements to improve audience engagement.
- Stay updated with current editing trends, motion graphics, social media formats, and AI-assisted editing tools.

Performance Management

- Conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Assist HR in technical interviews and skill assessments for hiring new editors.
- Recommend promotions, training needs, and performance improvement plans.

Qualifications Required

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Multimedia, Film Production, Animation, or any related field.

Experience

- 5–7 years of professional experience in Video Editing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading or mentoring a creative/video editing team.
- Experience working in Podcast Editing, Digital Media, YouTube Content, or Media Production.

Technical Skills

- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Good understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Audition.
- Strong knowledge of motion graphics, color correction, audio enhancement, subtitles, and visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools and workflow automation is preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
