Job Title: Trainee Therapist

Location: GiftAbled Child Development Centre (CDC), Kasturinagar, Bengaluru

Job Summary:

The Trainee Therapist will work under the supervision of senior therapists to support assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation services for children with developmental disabilities. The role provides hands-on clinical exposure while developing professional skills in pediatric therapy and family-centered care. GiftAbled CDC offers services for children with Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, and other developmental conditions. (svastya.giftabled.org)

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist senior therapists during therapy sessions.
- Support assessment and documentation of children's progress.
- Conduct therapy activities under supervision.
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain treatment records.
- Educate and guide parents on home-based therapy activities.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Ensure therapy rooms and equipment are organized and maintained.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and team meetings.




- Follow ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality.

Eligibility:

- Bachelor's degree (or final-year internship) in:
- Occupational Therapy (BOT)
- Physiotherapy (BPT)
- Speech & Hearing (BASLP)
- Psychology
- Special Education
- Passion for working with children with disabilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Skills:

- Basic understanding of child development.
- Patience, empathy, and observation skills.
- Documentation and report-writing ability.
- Ability to work collaboratively with therapists and parents.

Working Hours:

- Full-time, Monday to Saturday.

- As per GiftAbled policy and candidate qualifications.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 per month
