- Design and develop 3D molds, tooling layouts, inserts, side actions and components for plastic injection molding.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Unigraphics NX (UG NX) for mold and tooling design.
- Perform DFM, DTC, tool-flow, cooling and warpage analysis to optimize tool performance.
- Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, tool materials, hot runners and cooling systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams for mold troubleshooting and process optimization.
- Identify opportunities to reduce cycle time, improve quality and optimize tooling costs.
- Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, tool specifications and technical documentation.
- Handle engineering changes, tool maintenance, wear/failure analysis and corrective actions.
- Experience with SolidWorks, Pro-E, Moldflow and AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
