Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for TIG welding and fabrication of machine components, frames, panels, and other metal parts while maintaining high standards of weld quality, accuracy, and finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and other suitable metals.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, measurements, and welding symbols.
- Set up TIG welding machines, select suitable electrodes, filler rods, and welding parameters.
- Weld machine frames, brackets, panels, structures, and precision components.
- Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, and weld quality during fabrication.
- Perform grinding, finishing, and cleaning of welded components when required.
- Inspect welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and improper penetration.
- Use measuring tools such as Vernier calipers, measuring tapes, and gauges.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.




- Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to complete jobs within the required timeline.
- Maintain welding equipment and report any machine or tool issues.

Required Skills
- Good hands-on experience in TIG welding.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and basic fabrication practices.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of welding parameters and material selection.
- Good understanding of dimensional accuracy and weld finishing.
- Ability to use basic measuring instruments.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, Mechanical, or related field preferred.
- Relevant hands-on welding experience will also be considered.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in machine manufacturing, industrial fabrication, or precision welding is preferred.
- Experience with stainless-steel fabrication will be an added advantage.

Location: Mudichur, Tambaram Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
