Namaste The DAV Group - Chennai, was established in 1970 at Gopalapuram in Chennai with just 50 students. The Group today, caters to over 40,000 students across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. In this context, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated TGT2 Social Science Teacher to handle Social Science for Classes 8, 9, and 10 for Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda Vidyalaya. The candidate should be able to create an engaging learning setting and help students develop a strong understanding of History, Geography, Civics, and related subjects.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science or related subject
- B.Ed.(preferable)




- Prior teaching experience in middle/high school is preferred

- Teach Social Science for Classes 8, 9, and 10
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment materials
- Develop students’ conceptual understanding through interactive teaching methods
- Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and parent interactions
- Follow school policies and academic guidelines effectively

Salary shall commensurate with experience
