Grey Fabric Department – Quality Supervisor Position: Quality Supervisor – Grey Fabric Department Department: Grey Fabric / Knitting Industry: Textile Manufacturing – 100% Polyester Fabrics Location: Panipat, Haryana Experience: 3–8 Years Employment Type: Full Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced and responsible Quality Supervisor for our Grey Fabric Department. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining consistent grey fabric quality, monitoring production processes, identifying defects and ensuring that the fabric produced meets our required quality standards. Our plant manufactures 100% Polyester Flannel Fabrics and operates Rashell Knitting Machines, Warping Machines, Slitter Machines and Winding Machines.

Key Responsibilities - Supervise day-to-day Grey Fabric Quality operations.

- Monitor fabric quality produced on Rashell Knitting Machines.
- Inspect grey fabric for defects such as:
- Holes / Needle Lines - Broken Needles - Drop Stitches - Barre / Lines - Uneven GSM - Width variation - Yarn-related defects - Stains / Oil marks - Fabric cuts and other knitting defects - Ensure correct GSM, width, construction and fabric appearance as per production requirements.
- Coordinate with the Knitting, Warping, Slitting and Winding teams to identify and rectify quality issues.
- Check yarn and beam quality before and during production.
- Monitor Warping quality and identify issues affecting knitting performance.
- Monitor Slitter and Winding processes to ensure proper fabric handling and roll quality.
- Maintain proper fabric inspection reports and quality records.
- Identify recurring defects and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper segregation of A-Grade, B-Grade and rejected fabric.




- Coordinate with production supervisors and machine operators for immediate resolution of quality issues.
- Conduct regular inspection of machines/processes from a quality perspective.
- Ensure proper roll identification, tagging and traceability.
- Reduce fabric rejection, wastage and rework.
- Train operators and workers regarding quality standards and defect identification.
- Maintain discipline and quality standards within the department.
- Report major quality issues to the Production/Quality Manager.

Required Skills &

Experience - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in textile manufacturing.

- Experience in Rashell Knitting will be highly preferred.
- Practical knowledge of Warping, Slitting and Winding processes.
- Good understanding of 100% Polyester knitted fabrics.
- Experience in Grey Fabric Inspection and Quality Control.
- Good knowledge of GSM, width, construction and fabric defects.
- Ability to identify the root cause of quality problems.
- Good coordination skills with production and maintenance teams.
- Should be capable of handling a team of operators/workers.
- Should be comfortable working in a production plant workplace.
- Strong focus on quality, discipline and production efficiency.

Preferred Candidate

Candidate should preferably have experience in a Rashell knitting setup and should understand the complete grey fabric process: Warping → Rashell Knitting → Slitting → Winding → Grey Fabric Inspection Key Performance Areas (KPIs) - Grey Fabric Quality - Fabric Rejection % - Defect Reduction - GSM & Width Consistency - Roll Quality - Production Quality Compliance - Wastage Control - Operator Quality Awareness - Timely Resolution of Quality Issues Salary Salary: Negotiable – Based on experience and capability. Immediate joiners / candidates with relevant Rashell experience will be preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
