Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Textile Designer role based in Ahmedabad.

The Textile

Designer will develop original fabric designs, including prints, patterns, and embroidery concepts aligned with brand and market requirements. Day-to-day tasks include researching trends, creating design concepts, preparing technical design files, and collaborating with production teams to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing. The role involves working closely with merchandising and sales to adapt designs for specific collections or clients, reviewing samples, and refining artwork based on feedback.

Designer will also maintain organized design libraries and ensure all graphics and textile layouts meet quality standards and timelines.

Qualifications

- Solid design skills in textiles, including experience with textile prints and embroidery.
- Proficiency in graphic design and graphics creation for fabric patterns and motifs.
- Solid understanding of textile materials, fabric types, and production processes.
- Ability to translate market and trend research into commercially viable designs.
- Experience using industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD tools).
- Attention to detail, color sense, and composition skills suited for textile applications.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with design, production, and sales teams.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a textile or apparel design environment is preferred.
