Power Converter Systems Testing:
- Perform safety tests i.e. Dielectric, Isolation and Grounding impedance
Test
- Perform functional and performance testing on power converter systems, including inverters, rectifiers, and DC-AC/DC-DC/AC-DC converters.
- Ensure that power converter systems meet design specifications and industry standards
- Identify and troubleshoot any discrepancies or malfunctions within the systems.
- Proficient in using instruments such as oscilloscopes, multi meters,
power analyzers, signal generators, and electronic loads to measure voltage, current, power, and waveform characteristics.
- Knowledge of temperature sensors and infrared thermography to monitor the heat dissipation of power converter systems.
- Ability to measure and analyze power quality parameters such as harmonic distortion, power factor, ripple, and noise in power converters.
- Testing the efficiency, load regulation, and other performance aspects of power converters under varying conditions.
Electrical Panels Testing:
- Conduct testing of electrical panels to ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational specifications.
- Perform insulation resistance tests, continuity checks, and verification of wiring configurations.
- Test the functionality of circuit breakers, relays, fuses, and other components within the electrical panel.
Test Documentation & Reporting:
- Document test results accurately, including any failures, adjustments,
or corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed test reports that provide transparent insight into the performance of the tested systems and panels.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to provide feedback on potential design improvements.
Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis:
- Proven experience in troubleshooting power converter systems and identifying faults by analyzing test data and schematics.
- Problem-solving skills to identify root causes of failures and make necessary adjustments or repairs to the systems.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Ability to prepare clear and concise test reports that document test setups, procedures, results, and recommendations for improvements.
- Strong communication skills to work with design, engineering,
production, and quality assurance teams, ensuring that testing aligns with product development and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to explain complex technical issues in simple terms, providing actionable feedback to engineers or management for corrective actions.
Safety & Compliance:
- Knowledge of industry standards related to power converter systems and electrical safety, including IEC, UL, and IEEE standards.
- Experience ensuring that all tests comply with relevant regulatory and safety standards for electrical equipment and power systems.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, including high voltage testing protocols, safe grounding, and PPE (personal protective equipment).

Specializing in Power Converter Systems.
Knowledge for testing, validating, and ensuring the performance,
reliability, and safety of power converter systems, including AC-DC, DC-AC,
and DC-DC converters.
Knowledge of electrical tests, analyzing test data, troubleshooting issues, and providing feedback to design and production teams.
Minimum: BE / BTech (Electrical)
