ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the product testing team, you will plan, identify, and execute system-level testing activities across embedded and software development environments to achieve project goals.

- Plan, design, and execute manual system-level tests and automated UI test suites across medical devices, firmware, and software applications.
- Execute SQL queries, validate backend data integrity, create test databases and modify datasets to support test scenarios.
- Analyze system logs, JSON, and XML structures to diagnose failures across hardware, firmware and software communication layers.
- Develop and maintain automated desktop UI test suites in C# and .NET utilizing stable UI locators (AutomationIds) and maintainable abstraction frameworks.
- Maintain test repositories in Git/GitLab and execute automated test suites within continuous integration pipelines.
- Provision, configure, and manage Virtual Machine (VM) environments for build verification and release testing.
- Ensure full traceability of test cases to product requirements while managing the end-to-end defect lifecycle.
- Partner with R&D; firmware and software engineering teams to troubleshoot complex integration issues and meet strict project delivery timelines.
- Understand product features in detail to develop robust test cases and perform rigorous test execution to challenge the design.
- Adhere to established safety, quality, and regulatory protocols to ensure overall product compliance.




- Interpret technical designs and schematics to identify critical test scenarios and optimize test coverage.
- Drive early defect identification and contribute proactive ideas to improve the overall testing process.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATION

- B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioelectronics, Electronics & Communication (ECE), or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 to 4 years of proven hands-on software and system testing experience.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCY: (ESSENTIALS) Manual & System Testing (Essential)

- Robust working knowledge of SQL databases with hands-on experience reading, creating and modifying data and schemas.
- Practical understanding of JSON and XML data formats, strong ability to analyze system logs to isolate root causes.
- Hands-on experience setting up and utilizing Virtual Machines (VMs) for release testing cycles.
- Strong command of structured testing processes, test case development and end-to-end defect lifecycle management using Jira or equivalent tracking tools.

Automation Testing (Essential)

- Strong command of C# and .NET.
- Practical experience in desktop UI automation using Microsoft UIAutomation, AutomationIds, and structured UI abstraction patterns (e.g., Page Object Model).
- Proficient with Git, GitLab, and running automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines.
