Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tricentis Tosca Test Automation Engineer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in designing,



building, and executing automated test suites. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Tosca's model-based, scriptless automation approach, along with exposure to test management using

Tricentis qTest . Familiarity with other automation frameworks like Selenium is a plus. This role is open to candidates based in or willing to work in a hybrid/remote capacity, with a preference for candidates in Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca for web, API, and/or enterprise applications (SAP, Salesforce, etc., as applicable)
- Create and manage reusable Modules, TestCases, TestSteps, and TestStepValues within Tosca Commander
- Perform object/module scanning and maintain robust, reusable object repositories
- Execute automated regression suites and analyze test results, identifying and reporting defects
- Collaborate with QA leads and business analysts to translate requirements into automated test scenarios
- Integrate Tosca test cases and execution results with qTest (or similar test management tools) for traceability and reporting
- Support API test automation (REST/SOAP) using Tosca where required




- Participate in test data management and data-driven testing setup
- Work within CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing
- Troubleshoot automation failures and maintain test scripts to accommodate application changes
- Contribute to test strategy discussions and recommend automation best practices

Required Skills

- 5–6 years of overall QA/testing experience, with a strong focus on Tricentis Tosca (scriptless/model-based automation)
- Solid understanding of Tosca Commander, Modules, TestCase design, Execution Lists, and Test Data Management
- Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) within Tosca
- Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and test automation best practices
- Ability to analyze test failures and perform root cause analysis
- Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional/distributed teams

Good to Have

- Exposure to Tricentis qTest for test case management, requirement traceability, and defect tracking
- Experience integrating Tosca with qTest for unified reporting

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with other automation tools such as Selenium , Playwright, or UFT
- Exposure to version control tools (Git, TFS) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Experience testing enterprise applications like SAP, Salesforce, or mainframe/green-screen systems

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Tricentis Tosca certification (preferred, not mandatory)
