About the Role

Garuda Aerospace is looking for an experienced Tender Manager to manage the end-to-end tendering process across government, defence, PSU, and private-sector opportunities. The role will be responsible for tender identification, bid preparation, cross-functional coordination, compliance, submission, and post-bid activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, and track relevant government, defence, PSU, and private-sector tenders .
- Manage the complete tender lifecycle from tender identification through submission and closure .
- Review tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, BOQ, EMD, PBG, and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with Sales, Business Development, Technical, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Operations teams for bid preparation.
- Prepare, compile, review, and submit technical and commercial tender documents.
- Ensure all bids are accurate, complete, compliant, and submitted within defined timelines .
- Prepare tender queries, clarifications, deviations, and pre-bid documentation.
- Monitor tender amendments, corrigenda, and portal updates.
- Maintain and regularly update the tender tracker , including opportunities, submission status, deadlines, and outcomes.
- Coordinate post-bid activities including technical clarifications, negotiations, presentations, and award-related documentation .
- Maintain organized records of all submitted bids and supporting documents.
- Analyze tender outcomes and identify opportunities to improve the tender win rate .
- Support management in bid/no-bid decisions based on technical, commercial,



and strategic feasibility.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of government, defence, and PSU tendering processes .
- Hands-on experience with GeM and e-tendering portals .
- Good understanding of tender documentation, BOQ, EMD, PBG, compliance, and commercial requirements.
- Strong coordination, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and tender management systems .
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and strict deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in Aerospace, Defence, UAV/Drone, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Technology industries.
- Experience handling large-value government and defence tenders .
- Experience with GeM, CPPP, state government, defence, PSU, and private tender portals .
- Knowledge of government procurement procedures and tender compliance requirements.

Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

MBA/PG qualification in Sales, Operations, Procurement, or a related field will be an added advantage.
