General Position Summary: Firm Information Technology Services – Technology Desktop Support Specialist

As a trusted advisor, you’ll support, utilize and maintain MNP’s technology to ensure smooth IT operations, enabling team members to work efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

Deskside Support / Desktop Support

- Provide comprehensive IT support,



including deskside assistance, basic server administration, and basic networking services

- Support the deployment, configuration and use of our core set of applications, including tax and accounting applications

- Provide technical support relating to desktop, laptop, printers, scanner configuration, and mobile devices

- Implement and maintain equipment standards, policies, and support processes

- Install software and deploy hardware as required

- Utilize ServiceNow ticketing and knowledge base systems

- Be able to work independently and as a member of a larger IT team

- Deliver one on one and group training, both in person and remotely

- Availability to work occasional shifts outside of standard hours or in an on-call rotation, as necessary

Requirements

Skills:

· Technologically savvy with a strong ability to learn applications and systems quickly

· Customer service experience

· A robust understanding and experience with the following:

o Imaging hardware o Backup systems o PowerShell o Windows 11

o Office 365

o Teams o OneDrive

· Familiarity supporting key accounting applications such as TaxCycle, CaseWare and other consumer accounting packages is considered an asset

· Experience in asset management and planning is considered an asset

· Experience working within a business to proactively assess business needs is considered an asset

Educational Qualifications

· Bachelor Or Masters in Technology

· Bachelor Or Master of Computer Applications

Experience:

- At least 4 years of relevant IT Desktop Support experience
