Data Centre Technician Lead Electrical (Telecom)

Up to 30,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications)

Qualification

ITI (Electrician/Electrical)

Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Wireman License or Electrical License is an added advantage

Experience

Minimum 13 years of relevant experience in telecom, electrical maintenance, or data center operations.

Freshers with excellent technical knowledge may be considered (if applicable).

Candidate Profile

Male candidates preferred

Strong electrical troubleshooting skills

Good communication and teamwork

Willingness to work in rotational shifts and emergency situations

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems in the data Centre.

Monitor and maintain UPS, DG sets, batteries, transformers, LT panels, and power distribution systems.

Install, inspect, and troubleshoot telecom and electrical equipment.

Monitor HVAC, fire alarm, and building management systems (BMS).





Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintain operational logs.

Respond quickly to alarms, faults, and emergency breakdowns.

Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repair activities.

Follow all safety regulations, electrical standards, and company SOPs.

Ensure 100% uptime of critical infrastructure.

Prepare maintenance reports and documentation.

Support commissioning, testing, and installation of new equipment.

Required Skills

Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting

Preventive & breakdown maintenance

Knowledge of UPS, DG, LT Panels, Transformers

Understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure

Telecom equipment maintenance

Basic computer knowledge (MS Office)

Safety procedures and electrical compliance

Teamwork and problem-solving skills
