Digital is looking for an experienced

Technical SEO Specialist to improve the search performance of one of Kerala's largest digital news platforms. You will work closely with our Product, Engineering, Editorial, and Analytics teams to ensure our websites deliver the best possible experience for both users and search engines.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and recommend improvements.

- Improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, and INP) across our web platforms.

- Monitor and resolve indexing, crawling, and coverage issues in Google Search Console.

- Optimize crawl budget, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, hreflang, and site architecture.

- Identify and resolve duplicate content and rendering issues.

- Implement and validate structured data (Schema.org) for news content.

- Improve visibility in Google Search, Google News, and Google Discover.

- Perform log file analysis to understand search engine crawling behavior.

- Work closely with engineering teams to implement technical SEO recommendations.

- Collaborate with editorial teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed.

- Monitor rankings, traffic, and technical SEO KPIs using industry-standard tools.

- Stay updated with Google's algorithm changes and technical SEO trends.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3 - 6+ years of hands-on experience in Technical SEO.

- Strong understanding of Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager.





- Expertise in Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed optimization.

- Experience with Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Sitebulb, or similar SEO tools.

- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their impact on SEO.

- Experience with XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicalization, redirects, structured data, and indexing.

- Knowledge of JavaScript SEO and rendering challenges.

- Familiarity with server-side SEO concepts, CDN, caching, and HTTP status codes.

- Ability to analyze crawl logs and identify technical bottlenecks.

- Experience working with large-scale websites or media/news publishers is highly preferred.

Valuable to Have

- Experience with News SEO and Google Discover optimization.

- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Quintype.

- Experience with BigQuery, Looker Studio, or other analytics platforms.

- Basic understanding of SQL or Python for SEO analysis.

- Experience working with development teams in Agile environments.
