About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic team at Zuci Systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web-based applications using Java J2EE technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in full-stack development, cloud application deployment, and adherence to coding standards.

Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience of 3+ years in Java development, with a focus on web applications.

Strong understanding of Java 8 and above.

Hands-on experience with REST API standards, microservices architecture, and Spring Boot framework.

Familiarity with TDD/BDD methodologies and related tools.

Experience with build tools such as Maven.

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle,



from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Design, develop, and implement scalable web applications using Java J2EE technologies.

Develop and consume RESTful APIs, and implement microservices-based solutions.

Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met through rigorous testing and reviews.

Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on best practices, solution design, and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of features.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve application performance and user experience.

Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for coding, security, and data privacy.
