About the Role The Technical Design Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s designated design software by administering its databases, product libraries, design modules, and material configurations. The role serves as the technical link between the design and manufacturing functions, ensuring smooth operation of the software, accurate system configurations, and seamless integration between the organization’s design software and automated production machinery to support efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Software Administration

- Manage and maintain the organization’s designated design software to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations.
- Configure and update the software based on organizational requirements and product development.
- Provide technical support to the design team regarding software functionality and usage.

2. Database & Library Management

- Maintain and manage the software database, including SQL database administration.
- Develop, update,



and maintain product libraries, material databases, hardware libraries, and related design resources.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all technical data maintained within the software.

3. Module Development & Configuration

- Create, configure, and maintain modular components within the design software.
- Modify and enhance existing modules based on product updates, design requirements, and organizational needs.
- Ensure all modules comply with technical specifications and manufacturing standards.

4. Technical Coordination & System Integration

- Coordinate with design team to understand technical requirements and provide software support.
- Collaborate with machine operators to ensure smooth execution of software-generated production data.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to the design software.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate with the Production and Machine Operations Team to ensure accurate execution of design outputs.
- Act as the primary technical resource for design software-related queries.

6. Production System Support & Machine Integration

- Ensure seamless integration between the organization’s design software and automated production machinery.




- Verify that production data generated through the software is accurate and ready for manufacturing.
- Monitor system performance and support the resolution of software-related production issues.
- Support continuous improvement of software-driven manufacturing processes.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- B.E./B.Tech in Production Engineering
- B.E./B.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science (CSE)
- B.E./B.Tech in Information Technology (IT)
- Any other relevant Engineering discipline with exposure to CAD/CAM systems, manufacturing technologies, or design automation will also be considered.

Experience

- 0-3 Years of experience in design software administration, CAD/CAM systems, manufacturing automation, database management, or a related technical domain.
- Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude and relevant academic exposure may also be considered.

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of design software administration
- Possess good working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Knowledge of SQL database management
- Understanding of database structures and product library management
- Ability to configure and maintain design modules
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and machine integration
- Proficiency in MS office applications
