Role Description The Team Leader role at Grab is a full-time, in office position based in Coimbatore.

The Team

Leader is responsible for supervising and guiding a team of operations staff or delivery partners, monitoring daily performance, and ensuring service levels and KPIs are met. This role involves planning and allocating resources for shifts, resolving operational issues in real time, and coordinating with internal stakeholders such as hub managers, dispatch teams, and customer support.

prepare basic performance reports, and support continuous process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and partner experience. The position also requires coaching team members, maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards, and supporting new initiatives and technology rollouts in the local operation.

Qualifications

- Strong team leadership and people management skills, including the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop team members.
- Operational and logistics coordination skills, such as shift planning, resource allocation, and real-time problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with delivery partners, internal teams, and business stakeholders.
- Basic data and reporting skills, including comfort with using dashboards, spreadsheets, and other tools to monitor KPIs and prepare performance updates.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service quality, timely delivery, and issue resolution.
- Experience in last-mile logistics, e-commerce, retail operations, or similar domains is preferred.
- Proficiency in English and local languages used in Coimbatore, along with good interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline; equivalent practical experience in operations or team leadership will also be considered.
