Role Description This full-time Teaching Faculty role is an on-site position based in Dadri. The faculty member will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions, ensuring that course content aligns with DTU’s academic standards and curriculum.

Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing teaching materials, assessing student performance through assignments and examinations, and providing academic guidance and mentoring. The role also involves participating in curriculum development, contributing to departmental meetings and committees, and engaging in scholarly activities such as research, publications, and seminars. Faculty members are expected to support a collaborative learning environment,



uphold academic integrity, and contribute to outreach and institutional development initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in the relevant engineering or applied science discipline, with the ability to teach core and elective courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Demonstrated teaching skills, including effective classroom management, lesson planning, and the use of varied pedagogical methods to support diverse learning styles.
- Research-oriented mindset with experience or interest in scholarly work, including publications, projects, conference participation, and collaborative research.
- Proficiency in academic assessment and evaluation, including designing assignments, examinations, and rubrics, and providing constructive feedback to learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and administrative staff.
- Familiarity with educational technologies, learning management systems, and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
- Relevant academic qualifications, typically a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline from a recognized university; higher qualifications and teaching/research experience are highly desirable.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, inclusivity, student welfare, and participation in departmental and institutional activities.
