Prepare and inspect tubes for rolling by verifying incoming tube OD, wall thickness, and surface condition prior to loading onto the rolling line.

Set up and operate the rolling mill in accordance with defined pass schedules, ensuring correct roll gap, alignment, and dieplug configuration for each product specification.

Monitor and adjust machine parameters through the HMI/control panel to maintain secure rolling operations and achieve required dimensional output (OD, wall thickness, and tube length).

Measure tube OD, wall thickness, and elongation at each rolling pass using standard instruments ( calipers , OD gauges) and ensure final pass dimensions conform to specified tolerances.

Detect tube surface defects, seams, splits, or dimensional deviations during rolling and initiate appropriate corrective actions to prevent quality deviations from progressing downstream.





Ensure correct lubrication application at all die positions throughout the rolling process to prevent surface damage and reduce die wear.

Monitor rolling force and motor current readings continuously; alert the Technician immediately for any abnormal or outofrange parameters.

Identify root causes of machine, process, or tooling failures (roll wear, misalignment, lubrication issues) and support timely corrective and preventive maintece actions.
