Role Description The Super Specialist Doctor will provide advanced, evidence-based clinical care in their area of specialization, managing both outpatient and inpatient cases, including critical patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, performing or supervising specialized procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role also involves counseling patients and families, maintaining accurate medical records, participating in clinical audits, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

This is a full time, on-site position based at Avanti Hospital in Ujjain,



requiring active participation in hospital rounds, emergency coverage as needed, and adherence to hospital protocols and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Recognized postgraduate super specialty qualification (DM, MCh, DNB Super Specialty, or equivalent) in a relevant medical discipline.

Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council and eligibility to practice as a specialist in India.

Strong clinical diagnostic and decision-making skills, including experience in managing complex and critical cases.

Proficiency in patient counseling, communication, and interdisciplinary teamwork with nurses, technicians, and other physicians.

Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and participation in clinical audits, CME programs, and quality improvement.

Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment with rotating duties, including emergency and on-call responsibilities.

Familiarity with hospital information systems, electronic medical records, and standard infection control and patient safety protocols.

Prior experience in a tertiary care or multi-specialty hospital setting is highly desirable.
