Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Student Counselor – Study Abroad role based in Kozhikode. The counselor will guide prospective students and families through the entire study abroad journey, including course and country selection, university shortlisting, and explaining admission requirements and timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, and maintaining accurate records of student profiles and application statuses.

The role involves coordinating with universities and internal teams for admissions, documentation, and visa processes, while providing clear information on scholarships, financial planning, and post-study options.



The counselor will also support pre-departure orientations, participate in events and seminars, and contribute to outreach activities to increase awareness of Gradiks’ services.

Qualifications

Strong student counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to assess academic profiles, clarify study options, and provide tailored guidance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in spoken and written English and the ability to engage confidently with students and families.

Organizational and administrative skills to manage applications, documentation, follow-ups, and deadlines efficiently.

Basic knowledge of international education systems, admission procedures, and visa requirements for destinations such as Europe and the UK.

Customer service and relationship-building skills to deliver a professional, transparent, and supportive experience.

Comfort with using computers, CRM tools, and online platforms for data entry, tracking, and communication.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or related fields is an advantage.

Prior experience in study abroad counseling, career guidance, or education consulting is preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to work in office in Kozhikode, collaborate within a team, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
